 Less than 60 days to go to the Balloon Event of the Year : the 9th Edition of
the Millennium Jam, the Balloon Festival ...... unlike any other! The
adrenalin level is going up, and a growing nervousness makes it a bit more
difficult to unwind or catch the sleep.The event of the year NOT TO BE MISSED!Don’t worry ! These are the normal symptoms that return every year when we’re in the last straight line to our 5-day balloon party!And a knock-out party it will be! We have lined up for you an unbelievable team of top notch instructors, a mix of well known big names and rising stars, classic twister talent and stage performers, awarded decorators and amazing balloon entertainers and .... a few that are difficult to catagorise! We are ready to make this Jam the best ever and we are esppecially looking forward to the return of the ‘Èminence grise’ of the Twister Community, Marvin Hardy who , after a long absence, is very much looking forward to the Jam and even has a new workshop to amaze us all ! THE EXAM AT THE JAM ! On Sunday ,November 2nd, you can take the CBA exam at the Jam. Take advantage of this opportunity because it is FREE ( normal cost is € 40!) And as an extra bonus, we offer all the CBA candidates a free daypass for the rest of the day. So you can unwind a bit after the stress of the exam or go to an interesting workshop! Just doi it! The preparations for the Jam are in full swing and will make this an unforgettable edition! Halloween will never be the same again ! There are only a few places left so don’t hesitate and join in, alone or with friends, and let your creativity take over! Each balloon artist will be assisted by a professional make-up artist to make the presentation of his dress on the catwalk even more memorable! We are working very hard to get the national and international media to the Fashion Show to ensure maximum exposure for the participating balloon-artists. Each contestant will also receive a DVD as a souvenir of the 3rd Millennium Jam Balloon Fashion Show. One last question to all the participating balloon artists: please send us a list of the balloons that you will need for your entry. We would like to ask the audience to DRESS TO IMPRESS i.e. dress with balloons in the theme of the night. Come as a demon or an Angel and win one of the phantastic prizes! IRON LATEX , STEEL NERVES ! To make it even a bigger challenge, the Iron Latex Man Challenge will also have a theme. Of course we will announce it the very last moment! So the-mother-of-all-twister-contests will be extra hard on the nerves and on the creativity this year! Let the real balloon-artists come forward! The rewards will be sweet and the champaign well chilled! START WITH A BANG ! On Saturday November 1st, the exclusive sponsor of the Millennium Jam, Pioneer maker of Qualatex balloons, will be offering its European distributors a buffet-dinner in the big Jam Room. The dinner will be followed by a real gala where a number of top artists will perform. So far I can confirm the names of none other than star Clown Dave Bartlett, Balloon Buster Don Caldwell, the unique Flipo, the fabulous ‘Mangeurs de Lapin’ from Paris , the incredible Tomate and the poetic spanish duo El Retrete de Dorian Gray. The MC for the evening will be the one and only Bibo. The rumour goes that his compadre RafaÎl might pop up on stage, now and then .... Early Bird jammers can also attend this evening by registering for it separately. For the sum of € 40/pp you will enjoy a very, very luscious buffet,a hilarious gala and a raving after party.
