Balloon Biography
S. Frank Stringham (everybody just calls him “S.”) is a professional balloon artist/entertainer. He has been in the entertainment industry for most of his life and he has been in the balloon industry for nearly 25 years. He has done stage and screen work, he is a published author, he is an award winning playwright and composer, and he even “ran away” with the circus…(he worked with Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey as a ringmaster, a clown, and a balloon entertainer). On top of this, he is also an accomplished pianist…
If you combine all these things with the balloon artist in him, you’ve got an act that is fun, unique, and hilarious!

S. started adding balloons to his comedy routines at the comedy clubs he performed in ( The Comedy Store, Evening at the Improv, The Comedy Spot, The Ribtickler, etc.). When he had a piano performance, he started adding the balloons to the singing shtick that he would do. Most comedy clubs didn’t have pianos, so S. started relying more and more on the balloon humor and less and less on the music.

S. Frank also loves to play on his computer. He has 2 websites that he runs and maintains himself. www.SCapades.com is the website of S. Mr. Stringham’s first balloon convention was IBAC 1999, and he’s been enthralled with them ever since. He has taught at many conventions since then. He loves to teach the techniques, the twists, the talents, and the titillations that come with balloon twisting and entertaining. He likes to infuse his life’s mission statement into his classes. His mission statement is this: “To bring the 4 L’s into the lives of every person I come in contact with!” (The four L’s are Love, Life, Light, and Laughter).

So if you want to know how to be the happiest person in the world, just look at S….he knows how to do it…and he’s even happier when he does it with a twist!!

First as clowns, but after a while the balloons came on there path and another balloon-o-maniac was born. Dennis is completely hooked on balloons and this is seeable in his teaching, Dennis teaches at least 2 workshop each month (in there own company building) varying from beginners to very advanced.
