Balloon Biography

For the last Seventeen years I have run a successful card, gift and party shop. The balloon side of my business evolved in 1998, when a friend asked me to decorate her wedding venue with balloons. I enjoyed it so much I had to find out more! I went on a fundamentals course, wedding course and creativity courses I got the balloon bug. I needed more so I went to a Qualatex event, it changed my life, I became a C.B.A. and started designing displays. Now I teach for Pioneer.

I found the more I learnt meant the more I would earn and now because of my skills and knowledge I am earning a healthy living and my business is booming. Balloons have taken over my shop and now work is not just work, it is exciting and ever changing with new ideas and designs to work from plus I am having fun at the same time!

I believe that education is the way to expand the balloon industry and I look forward to passing on my understanding to others now I have become a proud member of the QAI team. I am keen to work with the best in the business, which will help me and my audience work our way to the top. I am enthusiastic to discover more, therefore I can teach to a higher quality! Being associated with Qualatex is a great success and has taken me to another level. Things can only get better.
