Balloon Biography
Kelly has been a Florist for the last 15 years and has combined this with Balloon Artistry during the past 8 years. Kelly was offered a teaching post at Capel Manor College where she went on to be Head of Floristry at their East London Outcentre remaining in this post for 7 years. For the past two years she has been managing a successful Floristry shop in Surrey.

Kelly’s passion for her subject and devotion to making the “learning experience” fun and exciting, coupled with her friendly and professional approach to teaching is sure to have you buzzing with exciting new ideas and on the road to success.

Industry Awards
- 1st place large Balloon sculpture IPHS 1998 (joint entry)
- Awarded the “Balloon Decorator of the year” award at IPHS 1998 (joint entry),
- 1st place table centrepiece IPHS 1998
- 3rd place table centrepiece EBS Portugal.Capel Manor Floristry Section was awarded
grade 1 at inspection whilst she was part of the teaching team 2001
- 1st place in the Non Round Balloon Sculpture competition IBAC (joint entry) 2001
- 2nd place in the British Teleflower Service competition 2002
- 1st place in the Large Balloon Sculpture competition at IPHS (joint entry) 2002
- Awarded the “Balloon Decorator of the year” award at IPHS (joint entry) 2002
- 2nd place in the Pioneer Europe competition at the Spring Florist Event 2002
- 3rd place in 2003 for the Smithers Oasis Competition at the Society of Floristry Event
- Bronze Medal at the 2004 Chelsea Flower Show for a display within the Floristry exhibits

- CBA - Certified Balloon Artist
- (FE) Certificate in Education & PGCE. - University of Greenwich
- Intermediate Certificate if The Society of Floristry ICSF
